A student may be expelled from a university for several reasons. The most common is academic debt. Of course, it gives the right to subsequent restoration, but the order is determined by the leadership of the university or academy. The one who expelled of his own free will, can recover at the university within five years, and will study on the same conditions as before.

Write a statement addressed to the rector. In the upper right corner of the page, indicate the position, surname and initials of the head of your educational institution. Surname and position are written in the dative case. Write below: “from a student of such and such a course” and your last name, first name and patronymic. The dot after the middle name is not set. Align the header to the right. Forms of such applications can also be in the dean's office of your faculty, so you can first make inquiries there.

Step back from the "cap" a few centimeters. Write the word "statement." Usually in such documents it is written with a lowercase letter, and only after it is put a dot. But you can get out of the situation in another way by writing the name of the document in capital letters.

Compose a statement. It consists of only one or two sentences. Write that you are asking to expel you from a higher educational institution of your own free will. Reasons to indicate are not necessary, but not forbidden. As such, there may be a reluctance to continue training in this specialty, family circumstances, etc.

Set the date below. Leave a place for signature and write in parentheses your name and initials. Print the document if you printed it on a computer, sign the application, put the current date and take it to the administration. The rector must make an order. After that you will be given a workaround, which will need to be signed in the libraries, in the hostel, in the dean’s office. After that, you will be able to receive the documents that were submitted to the selection committee. The receipt that you were given at the reception is desirable, but in principle, documents can be issued without it.

If you are not yet eighteen years old (for example, you study only in the first year), the administration has the right to demand the consent of your parents, since it is they who are responsible for the minor. Not every rector requires this, but be prepared and try to enlist the support of your parents.

If you are studying at a university under the state educational order program, you will still need to resolve the issue with the company with which you signed the contract. Terms of termination are stipulated in it.

Useful advice

When the true reason for the decision to leave the university is academic debt, the student needs to hurry up and have time to arrange the deduction of his own free will before he is expelled for poor performance. Chronic “tails” are not a valid reason, therefore, recovery reasons may arise in the future. Anyone who has expelled of their own free will can use the law "On Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education", which guarantees the possibility of restoration on the same basis as before.
