In the process of studying, schoolchildren and students have to write a lot of scientific papers of varying degrees of complexity. Any written work, whether it is an abstract, term paper or thesis, must be correctly executed, and the design begins with the first, that is, the title page.

Usually, teachers at schools and universities require a standard title page design. The exceptions are school creative projects, where students are allowed (and even encouraged) to use different types and sizes of fonts, illustrations and other additional design elements. However, for the convenience and ease of perception, the appearance of the scientific work should be standardized.

2

Type all the information on the title page of any written work without setting paragraph indents. Use Times New Roman font, size 14 pt. Align all the lines in the center, with the exception of information about the author and supervisor (teacher), which are aligned to the right.

3

Below the center you can indicate the name of the department (this information is not required).

4

In the center of the sheet, enter the name of the work topic without the word "topic" and quotation marks. Please note that the topic name must be typed in capital letters. Below the center of the title indicate the type of work and the subject (for example, an abstract on the history of Russia).

5

Even lower, closer to the right edge of the title page, type the name of the student (student), class (course). Even lower is the surname, first name, patronymic, and the position of manager and, if any, consultants. Usually, the wording “Completed (3rd year student) Ivanov I.I.” is used. and "Checked."

6

In the bottom field in the center, indicate the name of the city, the line below is the year the work was completed (without the word "year").

7

Do not number the title page, but include it in the general numbering of the work, that is, you do not put the page number on the title page itself, and number the next page as the second.

eight

Do not put dots at the end in any headings on the title page. A point is allowed, for example, in the title of a topic, if this name consists of two (or more) sentences. In this case, put a dot after the first sentence (or also after the following, but do not put at the very end of the heading).
