All our life we write compositions: short and long, business and with humor, on the topic and in a free style. Even writing a simple application at work requires a certain creative approach from us. Unless, of course, a template will lie before your eyes. But an essay on the theme "Our City" requires not only inspiration, but also some preparation.

Instruction manual

one

Learn the history of your city. Every day you walk along its streets and, perhaps, you don’t know how long it has existed. What is the reason for the appearance at first, probably, of a small settlement; how it grew and developed, what kind of people lived in it, what interesting things happened, who they met in front of the gates and whom they escorted, how the coat of arms and symbolism appeared - all this should be briefly described in the first part of the composition.

2

Take a walk around the modern city. Just walk around without rushing and not thinking about anything. At the same time, look into such streets and alleys, the existence of which you did not even suspect before. Consider everything around: houses, trees, people, birds - absolutely everything. You will notice so much interesting that then everything that you saw can hardly be put into words.

3

Tell in an essay about those places of the city where you like to be. Try to determine the cause of this craving and write on paper what you feel when you visit them.

4

Read books and booklets about the sights in your city. You will probably be very surprised that you don’t know much about them. Tell us something new and interesting that you discovered; share your reactions to this information the moment you find out about it.

5

Any city is determined not by houses and buildings, but primarily by people. Write about them too. And about those who are known throughout the country, and those who are truly interesting only to you. After all, it is they who create the uniqueness of your city.

6

Think about what is the hallmark of your city; what is in it that is not anywhere else. For example, a special building, a mysterious lake, a mysterious park

anything. Try to prove its uniqueness.

7

Describe how your city changes at different times of the year, on clear or rainy days, in cold and hot weather. What happens on the streets, in houses, how people behave, how buildings look. Give an example of your impression of the once seen "picture", which will never happen again.

eight

Share what you don’t like in your city. You would like to change something, completely remove something, and add something. But do not forget to explain why you want this. After all, any desire has a reason why it appeared.

9

In the last part, share with others how you see your favorite city in the future.
