Teaching any subject begins with the compilation of the program. It can be typical or copyright. It sets the goals and objectives of the circle or studio, determines the range of topics and the number of classes for each section. The Ministry of Education has certain requirements for the design and content of programs, including for institutions of further education. These requirements must be strictly observed.

You will need

  • - An approximate range of topics that you are going to consider in the classroom;

  • - a list of knowledge, skills and abilities that students should receive;

  • - class notes and other methodological developments.

Instruction manual

Name your program. The name should be indicated in the middle of the title page of the program in accordance with GOST R 6.30-97. At the top of the page, indicate the full name of the institution of primary or secondary education in which the circle operates. Under the title of the document write the time and date of its approval. Write what age classes are for children. The title page also contains information about the developer (his last name, first name and patronymic are indicated). At the bottom of the page, write the year of development and the city.

2

The text of the program itself begins with an explanatory note. Tell us in which direction your circle is working. Note why your program is needed, why it is relevant and why it is better to work on it, and not on existing ones. In the same part, it is necessary to talk about the age of children, the peculiarities of their development (if, for example, a circle is organized at a correctional school or social institution). Tell us about the proposed forms of classes and what tasks you can solve by working on the document you have compiled.

3

Any program, including one intended for a circle, contains a curriculum-thematic plan. It is compiled in a table. The work program of the circle can be designed for one academic year or for several. In the first case, add to the table the names of topics and the number of hours allocated to each study. In the second option, the table must also be broken down by year. When studying each topic, time is allocated for the study of the theoretical part and practical exercises. Mark this in the plan. Do not forget that in institutions of continuing education, more time is devoted to practical exercises than theories. In addition, take time to form groups, participate in competitions or exhibitions.

4

Tell us how the learning process will take place. In this part, the number of hours is not indicated. Just write the name of the topic, and under it, what theoretical questions are you going to consider when studying it, what practical skills do you intend to form with your students.

5

Make a section "Methodical support". Determine in what form you will be conducting the classes. They are quite diverse. It can be not only traditional classes in the class, but also excursions, master classes, seminars, intra-circle competitions or contests. Describe methods for exploring each topic.

6

Any methodological development is usually accompanied by a list of references. The educational program for the circle is no exception. It may even have two lists. The teacher used some editions when preparing the document, another is recommended to the circle participants. Design requirements are determined by state standards.
