How to write a graduation plan

Thesis is carried out at the last stage of training. The result of the defense may depend on the correct preparation of the plan, according to which later the substantial material will be presented. Often, it is by the composition of the work that experts evaluate the level of theoretical and methodological training of the author.

Start writing a plan with an introduction that reflects the relevance, novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the work, goal, objectives, object and subject of research. The volume of this part in the plan is reflected in the volume of 2-4 pages.

Think over the content of the main part of the work. Its division into parts: chapters and paragraphs will depend on this. If the thesis is of a descriptive and descriptive nature (historical, philosophical, etc.), then parts of it will be of a theoretical nature: a historical review, a general theoretical review, detail of the problem, the possibility of solving the problem. In the experimental work, the theoretical part will be reduced, and the description, testing and implementation of the experience will be reflected in the second part of the diploma.

Use a three-part structure if the experiment is conducted on the basis of research (educational institution, production). In the first chapter, describe in detail the object of study (the large-scale phenomenon that you are studying); in the second chapter, present the subject of the study (what you will use to conduct this study); The third chapter is devoted to the description of experimental work.

Draw conclusions on the work done, which are reflected in the conclusion. Consistently expose your research logic and results. This part of the work can be divided into components: conclusions on the experiment, a conclusion on the confirmation or refutation of the research hypothesis, prospects for further work.

Make a bibliographic list of used literature. All sources of the list should be reflected in the text of the work. The list is made alphabetically.

Place additional materials that clutter up the text of the work in the application: documents, diagnostic materials, diagrams, tables, etc.

Make a work plan in the form of a table of contents, in which all headings are placed and the pages from which they start are indicated. Place the chapter names under each other, and write the paragraphs of each chapter with an offset of 3-5 characters to the right in relation to the title of the chapter. Capitalize all headings without a dot at the end.

Any changes to the developed plan of thesis can affect the content, and even the name of the diploma. Due to the fact that the themes of final works are approved before they are written, the plan should be drawn up in advance if possible and try to adhere to it clearly.

Useful advice

Each title should reflect the essence of what is written in the work, and consist, if possible, of keywords, i.e. reflect the main meaning.

The headings indicated in the work plan should be exactly repeated in the text without abbreviations and changes.
