How to write a testimonial-feedback about practice

Many university students after completing the next year of training undergo practical training at enterprises. They get the opportunity to consolidate their theoretical knowledge obtained at the institute, and to check how much they helped them in practical activities. After completion, the head of practice from the enterprise should give the student a testimonial-response, which he will present to the institute along with a report on his labor activity.

Write a testimonial to a student who has completed internships at your company on the organization letterhead. It must necessarily indicate the full name of the company, legal address and contact numbers. The address part of the form in this case is not filled out.

Write the word "Characteristic" and indicate the surname, name and patronymic of the trainee, a student of what course and what educational institution he is.

Indicate the surname and initials again, the dates of the beginning and end of the practice, its duration. Write down what position the trainee held and list all that was in his duties. In a calendar order, give a list of the production tasks received during the practice and evaluate how successfully the student coped with each of them.

Give a general assessment of his theoretical knowledge, their level and ability to apply them in production activities. Assess his ability to learn and work with new information for him. List his business qualities shown during the performance of production tasks, his discipline, conscientiousness, punctuality, accuracy and responsibility.

Appreciate the universal qualities, the ability to work in a team, to captivate people. Note how the trainee enjoyed the respect of the employees of the enterprise working with him, whether he showed himself as a leader, as a future specialist. Point out those qualities that interfered with the work.

Give a general assessment of the practice: excellent, good, or satisfactory. Express your opinion about the student’s abilities, the presence in him of character traits, qualities and skills that are necessary for a specialist with higher education.

Write where the characteristic is given, the name of the university. Sign up as a practice leader. Sign the characteristic with the head of the company and endorse it with the head of the personnel department. Verify the signature with the seal of the enterprise.
