How to fix grades at school

A few days or weeks before the end of the school year (quarter), students try to correct current grades in order to achieve a high final grade. In this case, you can not do without the help of parents and teachers, so do not hesitate to contact them if necessary.

Start learning the material on the subject for which grades you are currently not comfortable with. You need to know all the formulas and rules on the topic that you are currently taking in class. Performing practical tasks will help you master the material much faster, in this case, exercises and tasks will not cause you any difficulties.

If you cannot understand the material yourself, ask your own teacher for help. If for some reason he refuses you or you yourself do not want to deal with him, contact a tutor. You can contact another teacher of the same subject at school, it is quite possible that he will agree to work with you additionally.

As soon as you master the topic and feel that you are able to retake material on which you previously received a poor grade, contact the teacher and ask him to help you correct the situation. Convince him that you need a higher score on the subject, and be sure to mention your regrets about how you used to relate to your studies. Be polite and persuasive, the teacher must make sure that you really want to make a difference.

Agree with the teacher to conduct an additional test on topics that previously caused you difficulties. The teacher can give you an additional creative task (essay, report, presentation), and then you will receive an assessment that can positively affect the situation. However, now you will need to learn with full dedication, you should not hope for more tips and cheating.

If several items at once cause you difficulty, create a schedule according to which you will do a little work daily for each of them. You will have to forget about your entertainment for some time and spend all your free time correcting the marks.
